Stephanie Herseth Sandlin introduced, on November 7, 2007, the Women Veterans Health Care Improvement Act, a bill to expand and improve VA health care services for women who have served, particularly those who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF). The bill has been referred to the House Armed Services.
