The management and governance of NABVETS is vested in The National Command Council. For a list of the current National Command Council members click here: Command Council Members

The National Command Council is responsible for the following:

Establish major administrative and other policies and procedures

Designate and elect officers of the council

Fill vacancies in the office of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Chair and Vice Chair of the National Command Council

Exercise the association’s fiduciary responsibility

Approve admission of State Commands and designated State Chapters of the Association. Any member in good standing of the Association is eligible to be elected to serve on the council.
