NABVETS: AN ORGANIZATION OF LEADERS

​Thank you for your interest in initiating a NABVETS Chapter in your area! Establishing a Chapter is an excellent way to get involved in your community and help other Black Veterans.  Since 1969, NABVETS Chapters have led the way in providing services to veterans and in addressing the many issues facing veterans, their families and communities.

NABVETS Chapters form the backbone of the organization and embody the core NABVETS values of honor, justice and community. NABVETS currently has over 100 Chapters across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands; all making a difference in the lives of Veterans.

NABVETS is a leadership-based organization, meaning the Veterans who start and grow Chapters are willing to be leaders in their community and an important resource for Veterans.   When NABVETS Charters a Chapter, leadership is the key element it looks for.
